Point cloud scanning is utilized to minimize late implemented production changes in prototype vessels and ensure the updated information is corrected into design data for next vessels in serie.
Users can create or join meeting and control the model in an immersive metaverse environment. Different layers of the model can be overlayed with the point cloud scan for comparing the planned design model with the built construction. Users can inspect differences and errors, take pictures and record their notes by speaking which will be translated to chosen language and converted to text format. The notes can then be shared and reviewed by participants after the inspection on a big screen.
